Um l\u00edquido anti-s\u00e9ptico \u00e9 utilizado para desinfe\u00e7\u00e3o de todo o membro superior e a sua colora\u00e7\u00e3o (em tons de vermelho ou alaranjada) pode ser vis\u00edvel no final. As refer\u00eancias anat\u00f3micas s\u00e3o desenhadas na pele e podem ser tamb\u00e9m vis\u00edveis na realiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos primeiros pensos, desaparecendo posteriormente.<\/p><p>Uma pequena incis\u00e3o de 5mm \u00e9 utilizada para introduzir a c\u00e2mara dentro da articula\u00e7\u00e3o. O soro \u00e9 inserido atrav\u00e9s desta para distender os tecidos e permitir a visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o que \u00e9 projetada num ecr\u00e3, onde o cirurgi\u00e3o identifica as les\u00f5es. A medica\u00e7\u00e3o analg\u00e9sica prescrita \u00e9 importante para controlar a dor, que pode ser mais intensa ap\u00f3s determinados procedimentos. Per\u00edodos de gelo de 10-15 minutos s\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m recomendados.
